Arti Nama Band /rif

Siapa yang tak kenal /rif. Band asal Bandung yang berdiri tahun 90an ini pernah menjadi ikon musik rock Indonesia di era nya. Lewat lagu hitsnya "Radja" yang rilis di tahun 1997, /rif berhasil memberi angin segar terhadap atmosfer musik Indonesia. Namun yang selalu menjadi pertanyaanku adalah mengenai pemberian garis miring di depan nama rif (/rif). Apa maksudnya? Penasaran juga seperti aku? Yuk kita simak bareng-bareng. Let's Rock guys..

Pada waktu awal-awal memasuki dunia musik, /rif lebih dulu memainkan lagu-lagu band Amerika dan Eropa (cover). Seperti misalnya Pearl Jam, Glam Rock, Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson. Nah, arti garis miring dalam nama rif, kata om Andy /rif maksudnya : Kalau mau dengerin lagu-lagu dari Pearl Jam, Strip (garis miring) dengerin aja /rif, karena /rif memainkan lagu-lagu Pearl Jam pada waktu dulu.

Nah, udah tahu kan guys apa sebenernya arti garis miring dalam nama band /rif. Kalau arti dari Rif udah tahu juga kan? Ok, mungkin ada yang belum tahu, sekalian aku tambahkan yach. Kalau Rif berarti Rythem In Freedom. :)
